NDT SERVICES METHODS AND TRAINING CAPABILITIES

Nondestructive Testing Inspection Classes, Training and Inspection NDT services available. There are many methods of Nondestructive Testing. Our classroom environment is condusive to learning both the technical aspects as well as hands on. Some of these methods we teach are:

• Ultrasonic Flaw Detection

NDT Level 1 Capabilities

• Be able to follow work instructions
• Have the skills and knowledge to process parts, document results and perform equipment standardization in accordance with approved work instructions.
• Receive guidance or supervision from a certified NDT Level 2 or 3 in that specific method.

NDT Level 2 Capabilities

• Have the skills and knowledge to process parts, document results, and perform equipment standardization.
• Be thoroughly familiar with the scope and limitations of the technique/method.
• Be capable of providing the necessary guidance and supervision to trainees and NDT Level 1 inspectors.
• Be familiar with codes, standards and other contractual documents that control the method as used by the employer.
• Have a basic knowledge of relevant product manufacturing and inspection technology.

NDT Level 3 Capabilities

• Have the skills and knowledge to interpret codes, standards, and other contractual documents that control the NDT method and used by the NDT Services Company.
• Assume technical responsibility for the NDT Company.
• Select the appropriate method and technique for an NDT inspection.
• Prepare and verifying the adequacy of an NDT procedure, work instructions and written practice.
• Approve NDT procedures and work instruction technical adequacy.
• Have a general knowledge of other NDT services, methods, product manufacturing and inspection technology used by the company performing NDT.
• Provide training, examination and certification of personnel.
• Conduct NDT for the acceptance of parts.
• Audit outside agencies to ensure the requirements of the written practice are met.
